A NEW EATERY SPROUTED RECENTLY ON CEDAR SPRINGS ROAD

Back to HOME

The always-inventive Tim McEneny, owner and CEO of NL Group, has reimagined the former DISH Cedar Springs space as Cedar Grove. With a revamped dining room bedecked with twelve-foot white contemporary trees that hover between each dining table, this new hot spot has an urban forest appeal.

Equipped with a 360-degree bar inlaid with green ceramic tiles that create a leaf pattern McEneny says, ?We created Cedar Grove with a number of goals in mind?create a vibrant restaurant and bar, perfect for Dallas and for the neighborhood, capture our location in the name Cedar Grove, develop a nature-inspired interior design. All this ties together in a delicious, approachable farm-to-table culinary menu created by Chef Taylor Kearney, signature drinks created by mixologist Trevor Landry and a wine selection by sommelier Brandon Smoot.? Cedar plank walls complete the outdoors-in theme with their unmistakable aroma.

Alaskan Salmon, Sesame Crusted Tuna and Grilled Pork Tenderloin served with cornbread, elote and charred peaches are just three of the entr?es under Large Plates. Trevor Landry, the accolade-laden Beverage Director for NL Group, crafted a befitting selection of cocktails in keeping with the motif. Above the Treeline, Shrubbery and the Wooded Manhattan are just a few of the tasty drinks we sampled. Signature adult snow cones are sure to keep the summer heat at bay. And for wine lovers, Smoot?s list is interesting and bold.
