Come for the Burgers Stay for the Burgundy

ALL TO BENEFIT DIFFA DALLAS

The best foodie event of the fall happens this Friday, October 14, when Burgers & Burgundy, presented by Michelin-Star Chef John Tesar and Patron Magazine’s Terri Provencal, takes place. Featuring ultimate burger creations and favorite wine pairings, nine award-winning local chefs will be on hand for a burger feast like no other.

Each hand-picked chef will donate their time and talent to the annual burger-fest, along with generous sponsorship from 44 Farms and Empire Baking Company. Co-chair and DIFFA Dallas Board Trustee David Hernandez adds: “With the additional support of our generous sponsors, proceeds from all ticket sales go toward the DIFFA Dallas mission of creating our first AIDS-free generation.”

“Bring your fashion-forward, or casual self along with your appetite,” co-chair and DIFFA Dallas Board Trustee Wesley Dowden enthuses. “We attract return guests every year who enjoy interacting with the chefs at each restaurant station. Guests love to watch the chefs prepare their famous burgers.”

The event also features a silent auction with luxury experiences including a trip to Orlando to experience Chef Tesar’s Michelin-star restaurant Knife & Spoon.

Ticketholders will also be the first to hear DIFFA Dallas Board Trustees Richard Rivas and Haley Clark reveal the tightly kept secret of next year’s theme for House of DIFFA, the iconic runway fashion show and gala on “the longest runway… I’ve ever seen.” (Stephen MacMillan Moser, Austin Chronicle.) The annual charity gala returns May 13, 2023, at the Hilton Anatole, and promises to be even bigger than the historic 30th anniversary celebration held earlier this year.
