?A new experience? is promised of this production, directed by Proper Hijinx founder Stefany Cambra. A Contemporary Theatre of Dallas alum, both onstage and as a stage manager and properties designer, she brings to her new company a wealth of local and national independent theater experience. In Two Rooms, she directs Michael McGough as a professor held hostage by terrorists, and Meagan Joy Black as his embattled wife (pictured herein).

As its title suggests, the play takes place in two rooms. Staged within the new underground CTD Basement Theatre, the characters? struggles, half a world apart, will unfold in a unique and intimate setting. ?I have the best kind of nerves right now,? Cambra revealed exclusively to Patron. ?I’m ready to share the work we’ve created and see what the public thinks. Hopefully big things are on the horizon for my tiny little theatre company.?
