In a solo exhibition through December 20, Galerie Frank Elbaz presents the work of American artist Blair Thurman?whose aesthetic is influenced by contemporary consumer culture and references histories of abstraction, Minimalism and Pop Art. The car culture is prevalent in his shaped canvases often imbued with neon tubing. Paintings based on the?banked test track on the roof of the Fiat factory, Lingotto, Torino; slot cars and track in serial repetition are among the works on view. Galerie Frank Elbaz is located at 136 Glass Street in the Dallas Design District.
